The second version of  a spec luxury home in an upscale neighborhood along Dixie Highway in southern Miami-Dade County.

In an effort to create a grand entrance space a vehicular portico is incorporated along the front to define the facade of the house, frame the entrance hall and define a motor court simultaneously. The second layer is a grand, transparent entrance foyer separating the two main wings of the house, living and work to the left and a bedroom wing to the right.

The main axis is accentuated beyond the glass foyer with a linear pool leading towards the expansive rear yard. This outdoor space is framed by the Master Bedroom on one side and a Terrace with a Summer Kitchen on the other. Inside and out blend seamlessly in this home yet its order and massing provide a relatable human scale for its Florida family.
