The firm is dedicated to creating places that enhance life and it manifests this objective through architectural design excellence.  In its experience, for any project to be successful it must be economically feasible, aesthetically pleasing and functionally correct. 

 

RamosMartinez architects performs site investigation and zoning analysis services during the site selection process to assist clients in order to enhance a property's development potential. They develop solutions that are practical; yet, innovative acknowledging the clients’ financial and programmatic needs. The firm applies traditional planning philosophies in an effort to create sustainable and environmentally conscious communities.  Key to their design philosophy is sensitivity to the existing context and a consciousness of the design’s impact.

 

During the construction phase, the firm performs construction administration services, inspections, post construction documentation and assist in keeping the project on schedule, within budget and in accordance with the original concept.  All project types receive the same level of attention in an effort to meet the client needs.

Humberto Ramos AIA LEED PA

PRESIDENT

Mr. Ramos graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and has practiced in New York, England, San Diego and Miami.  He worked with firms such as STV Incorporated, WAT&G and the Milo Architecture Group.  With these firms he worked as a project architect and construction administrator on projects such as the Legoland amusement park in England, the Explorer Insurance Business Center, a 140,000 SF office complex, the restoration of the historical landmark the New Jersey State House Annex, and the restoration of several historic schools in New York City.

 

Since the creation of Ramos Martinez Architects, Inc. Mr. Ramos has worked in various capacities managing the firm’s administration and many of the projects. He was project architect for the Terrazas Coconut Grove multi-use project, a 360,000 SF, 20 story apartment building with 130 residential units, offices and commercial spaces.  He has coordinated the preparation of construction documents and performed the construction administration for many of the firm’s projects.  He is a registered architect in the states of New York and Florida and is a LEED AP.

Daniel Maritnez

VICE-PRESIDENT

Mr. Martinez graduated from the University of Miami and soon established himself as one of the leading land planners in South Florida.  He practiced as the Land Planning Director for 11 years with a prominent firm in Miami and was part of the Zoning Code Advisory Board for the Building Association of South Florida (BASF).  During his tenure at this firm he designed over 20 residential and commercial developments and received awards for his designs including BASF's Best of South Florida Awards for Grand Lakes, a 200-acre mixed use development including a school and fire station and Kendall Breeze, a 27-acre residential development and Century Parc, a 40-acres garden apartment community. 

 

Since the creation of RamosMartinez Architects, Inc. Mr. Martinez has designed master plans for residential and commercial developments. including Pickering Plantation, a  new 233-acre town with over 1,800 residential units in St. Lucy Parish, Barbados and the Seneca Commercial Center, an 100,000 Sq. Ft. mixed-use commercial development including a 200-student daycare facility and an international grocery food chain.
